Welcome to Rose Hill primary school
On behalf of the children, staff and Governors I would like to warmly welcome you to Rose Hill Primary School. We are extremely proud of all that goes on in our school.
At Rose Hill we are committed to the pursuit of the highest possible academic, personal and moral standards. We aim to develop fully rounded, caring individuals with lively, enquiring minds. This commitment is underpinned by the Rose Hill 6Rs: Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Reflectiveness, Risk-taking and Resourcefulness.

Bad Weather/School Closure
In the unlikely event that the school may need to consider closure due to bad weather or other emergencies, we will use our texting service and the school website to keep parents/carers fully informed of the latest situation. Information is also broadcast on the following radio stations:
BBC Radio Suffolk (104.6, 103.9, and 95.5FM)
Heart FM (97.1 and 96.4FM)
Parents are asked to tune into these stations rather than phoning the school as lines may become jammed.
Information on school closure will also be available on the following website:
If the school has to close early during the school day we will notify parents by text message. Where the school has been unable to make contact with a parent or carer, the children will be kept in school until the usual home time.
For this reason it is vital that the school has up-to-date contact details for all children. If you have recently changed your mobile phone, please contact the school office to update your number.

"Pupils across the school are currently making good progress in writing."
"Pupils make good progress in phonics and reading because these skills are taught systematically."
