JANUARY UPDATE

Dear parents and carers,

You will have seen the Prime Ministers address to the nation this evening. As a result of this announcement Rose Hill Primary School will close to the majority of pupils from Tuesday 5th January 2021.

School will still be open to the pupils whom have parents who are key workers or pupils who are deemed vulnerable. You will have received information about this via ParentMail earlier this afternoon. We will be making contact with all those who have applied for a place to confirm arrangements or request further clarification. If you require a place and have not yet completed the form we would ask you to complete this as a matter of urgency.

If your child is remaining at home our remote learning offer will become live. Full details of this will be sent out tomorrow. If you visit https://www.rosehillprimary.net/Pupils/Remote-Learning/ you can begin to explore the learning activities. Staff videos and further information will be uploaded very soon.

If your child is entitled to a Free School these can be provided in the form of a packed lunch and will be available to collect from the front of school. Please email remotelearning@rosehillprimary.net to order your child’s lunch. Please specify any specific dietary requirements. The Prime Minister did state that vouchers for families in receipt of Free School Meals will be made available but we do not, as yet, know from when. We will update as and when we have further information.

Although school will be closed to majority of pupils staff are still here to support you and your pupils. We are here to answer questions, look at examples of work or just say hi! Please use the following email addresses to communicate with your child’s teachers:
