Week 1

The first week in Eagles has been a great start to the Year! We have learnt what Anglo-Saxon life was like, including why they came over to the UK and how they constructed their villages. Using this information, we designed and created our own miniature Anglo-Saxon village!

Welcome to Eagles class in Upper Key Stage 2! I’m Mr Bilner, and I am the class teacher for Eagles. I am the subject leader of history and geography and I also lead the Eco-Warriors. I love football and I am a massive Ipswich Town fan. If you see me around school, please say hi!

In Upper Key Stage 2 we cover many exciting units across the curriculum! In Autumn, we are going to be historians and explore Anglo-Saxon and Viking life in the UK. We are also going to be scientists, learning about space!

PE days are Tuesdays and Fridays. 

I can’t wait for the year ahead!
