Home Learning
Dear Parents/Carers,
This year we have decided to change homework slightly to have all families involved. Children will still have their spellings, times tables and reading challenges, but we will now introduce a family activity that can be worked on as whole families. Don’t worry, they will all be straightforward, and families can submit one piece of work rather than for each child! They can be in the form of documents, pictures, videos…whatever you want to send us.
This half-term, the family homework is based on our character, Respectful Robbie.
- 23/09/22: Think of some ways you can be respectful. 30/09/22: Carry out an act of respectfulness.
- 07/10/22: Research someone that you respect.
- 14/09/22: Create a piece of work (art or otherwise) teaching others about respect.
- 21/09/22: Interview someone that you respect.
You can send in your entries to ONE of the following email addresses, but remember to put your children’s names and classes on them too!
If you have more than one child in school, you only need to send the homework into one email address. E.g.: If you have children in Butterflies, Foxes, and Owls, you could send the homework into just the EYFS address. Our phase leaders will look at all of the submissions and choose a selection each week to be displayed on the website. (If you’d rather not have your work shown, please let us know in the email. We look forward to what will be a creative half-term!
