Family Liaison
Hello. My name is Rachel Woolnough and I am Rose Hill's Pastoral Lead. My role is to support you and your children during their time here at Rose Hill.
Pastoral Care is about looking after pupils so that they can lead fulfilling and balanced lives at school and beyond. It is about showing pupils how to look after themselves and others and encouraging them to seek help or support or advice when they need it.
At Rose Hill we know that all children are individuals and that being a parent can be the most challenging and hardest job in the world. Therefore, I am here to help with any concerns you may have with their learning, behaviour, emotional and health needs; offering both practical help and emotional support to you and your family.
My role also includes safeguarding; as well as the welfare of the pupils in school. This will be done in line with Rose Hill's Policies, to ensure the safety and well-being of the children.
Do please pop and see me, stop me for a chat in the playground, or phone the school on 01473 727552 to arrange a time to see me.
I am approachable and friendly so do not hesitate to speak to me. I won't have all the answers, but together we can work to enhance your child's school experience.
Did you know Suffolk County Council have PRE-PAID for every parent and carer in Suffolk to access a range of courses for parents/carers (access now for life-long access)? There are courses for parents, carers and grandparents about children from bump to 19+ years.
