Rose Hill Primary School are seeking to appoint dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Lead.
As Pastoral Lead you will be required to support the wellbeing and personal development of the pupils at Rose Hill Primary School.
Your responsibilities will include:
- supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- working with parents to provide support where necessary
- promoting positive behaviour
- supporting staff with their emotional wellbeing
- liaising with the DSL, Behaviour Lead and class teachers.
You will have:
- experience in a pastoral, counselling, or similar role within an education setting
- empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach
- excellent communication and IT skills
- the ability to prioritise work including multi-tasking
- understanding of the need to always maintain professional confidentiality
- good English and mathematics skills (grade C or level 4 or above).

JOB TITLE: Bursar
Salary: Grade 4 £18,728

Rose Hill Primary School are seeking to appoint a Bursar who will manage the school finances and the premises team.
You will be required to
- Prepare and monitor the schools budget including forecasts.
- Be responsible for the effective management of financial administration procedures, including compliance with financial regulations.
- Process orders and invoices for the whole school.
- Supporting with the recruitment of staff, following the safer recruitment regulations.
- Line manage the premises team, which includes the caretaker and the cleaners.
- Oversea the school site, managing the maintenance and overseeing contractor.
You will have.
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- The ability to prioritise work including multi-tasking.
- Understand the need to always maintain professional confidentiality.
- Good English and mathematics skills (grade C or level 4 or above).
- Knowledge of SIMS.net and SAGE would be an advantage.

JOB TITLE Caretaker
Part Time/ Permanent
SALARY: £16,293

- 7am – 8am then 2:30pm – 6:30pm, some flexibility in the hours can be considered.
- 45 weeks per year
Are you passionate about providing the best start for children? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and motivated Caretaker to join our team to help us ensure that our school provides a safe, welcoming and purposeful environment for children, staff and visitors.
The role will include a wide range of responsibilities and duties connected with the fabric of the building, health and safety, grounds and facilities maintenance and security.
Main responsibilities:
· Undertake the lock up and maintain security procedures
· Deal with minor security/safety issues
· Monitor standards of cleaning, undertake cleaning and supervision of cleaners
· Undertake basic DIY to the level of a competent handyman
· Carry out routine procedures such as replace light bulbs, batteries, change clocks
· Interact with staff, parents, pupils and visitors in a helpful and sensitive manner
· Check school site and premises regularly and ensure that all areas are safe and free from hazards, clear and grit paths and public areas when necessary.
· Have knowledge and awareness of health and safety practices and policies, have an understanding of COSHH regulations, maintain records where required
· Be willing to undertake training relevant to the role
