Welcome to Foxes
Hello and welcome to Foxes class page, one of the three Key Stage 1 classes. I am Mrs Naha, the Foxes class teacher. I am also responsible for the learning of EAL pupils at Rose Hill Primary School (more information about this can be found in the ‘EAL’ section of the website under the ‘Inclusion’ tab).
I have been a qualified teacher for over 25 years. I have been teaching at Rose Hill for 5 years. Some of my favourite things to do are decorating, gardening and reading. I sometimes also enjoy doing some knitting to relax! At university I studied Mathematics so I love teaching Maths in KS1.
This term, in history and geography we will be learning all about where our food comes from and the changes that have been made to farming through history. We will learn about what foods grow in the UK and what we need to import from other countries.
In art, we will be exploring the artistic mediums of collage and printing! We will be looking at the works of Matisse and Cezanne and learning all about the effects of colours on the mood of a piece of art.
In science, we will be continuing to look at animals including humans as well as how diet and exercise can keep you healthy. There is so much to discover about the creatures all around the world! Do you have a favourite creature? Why don’t you come and let us know all about it!
