Science Week 2022
We have had so much fun learning all about growth for science week!
It was fantastic opportunity for the whole school to go outside and plant a seed in our Rose Hill Allotment Area!
EYFS are growing peas
KS1 are growing radishes
LKS2 are growing carrots
UKS2 are growing strawberries
Daisies and sunflowers are also being grown
Watch this space for updates on our seeds growing...
KS1
We planted seeds!
Do you know what a plant needs to grow?

LKS2
For our stunning start for our electricity unit, UK Power Networks visited our school and taught us so many interesting facts!
What is electricity? Why do we need it?

We explored the question: Can you see sound?

We made string telephones to investigate how sound travels.
Do you think the sound changes over distance?

We made instruments to play sounds.
How could you change the pitch?

UKS2
Staff from Copleston High School came to Rose Hill for our science transition day.
We had so much fun investigating!

We explored the question: How can we classify leaves?
Can you identify some British trees from their leaves?

Earth and Space display.
Can you name the planets?
We explored the question: How can we slow down a parachute?

We made our own candles. Why are candles used?
