School Council
The council is made up of a boy and girl from each class across the whole of KS1 and KS2. In addition to this we have a head councillor, a deputy and a secretary. Their job is to lead the councillors and ensure that council business runs smoothly.
The council meets several times over a half term to discuss the issues that are important to the children and staff. We also think about others in the community. Our job is to make the school and the local environment feel friendly and welcoming.
This year’s school council Representatives are: Sade, David, Adelaide, Angelo, Lola, Jack, Fynn, Katelyn, Robson, Savannah, Oliver, Olivia, Megan, Gracie, Ruby, Luke, Alex and Rayyanah.
Our School Council has been very busy this term. As part of our harvest festival, they organised a food collection for F.I.N.D. (Families in Need) which is an Ipswich based charity which gives food parcels to local families in need of support due to illness, disability, being elderly or lone parents.
We had a fantastic response, with a huge number of tins, packets and jars being brought in. Thank you all so much for your generosity!
We took all our donations to the FIND collection centre where we learned about how it would be sorted and sent out to families in need.
